In tandem with the clerking team our support team is committed to providing client-centred services to instructing clients and members of Chambers. Specialist teams have been developed which focus on Marketing, Finance, Information and Communication Technology, Library Management and Client Services.

  • Chambers Management
    Wendy Pickering Administration Manager

    Wendy brings her diverse management and leadership background to chambers as an ex-British Army Officer and former management consultant. As Chambers’ Administrator she is responsible for the smooth everyday running of Chambers along with the support team. Wendy has an LLB, LLM, is a member of the LPMA and is a fully accredited Mental Health First Aider.

    Her spare time is filled with family, running and food.

  • Marketing

    Our marketing professionals are responsible for the promotion of Chambers and its members as well as the development and coordination of Chambers’ marketing activities.

    Claire Bowers Marketing Manager

    Claire joined Chambers in 2012 as Office assistant. Her responsibilities now include organising events, distributing articles and case notes and managing the website.

    Claire graduated in 2009 with a degree in Events and Marketing.

    Daiva Eitkevičienė Marketing and Admin Assistant

    Daiva provides administrative support within Chambers. Daiva brings with her extensive experience in the area of office administration.

  • Finance

    The finance department manages Chambers’ finances and provides accounting, bookkeeping and reporting services.

    Caroline Gowan Finance Manager

    Caroline is responsible for the financial management of Chambers – with over 25 years’ experience she has worked in many varied industries including property, recruitment, hospitality and most recently e-commerce. She brings with her best practice garnered from her past experience and combines this with a constant desire to pursue continual professional development.

    Jahdai Mendoza Accounts Assistant

    Jahdai provides finance assistance, primarily in relation to fees. He is studying to complete his Level three AAT qualification.

  • Information & Communication Technology

    The ICT professionals are the custodians of Chambers’ IT and communications services. With responsibility for the ICT infrastructure, the team offers all-inclusive support ranging from systems architecture and development to end-user support.

    Ben Dunn I.T. Manager

    Ben is an enthusiastic and dedicated IT professional with over ten years’ IT Support experience who provides day to day support for Chambers staff and systems, ensuring the continual operation and improvement of the ICT infrastructure.

  • Library Management

    Chambers’ Library provides members with traditional library tools as well as electronic, digital and online knowledge management resources.

    Moira de Silva Librarian

    Moira is in charge of Chambers’ library management. A qualified Librarian, Moira is also a member of BIALL and the Bar Librarians Group. As well as advising on, and maintaining, the various on-line information sources she takes care of our well-stocked and up-to-date hard copy library. Moira combines a meticulous regard for order with an ability to keep up with technology.

  • Client Services

    In liaison with the clerks, the client services trio has responsibility for front of house operations, conferences and events management, facilities and administration. The team takes pride in tailoring its services to the needs of internal and external clients and in performing to the highest standard.

    Jolanta Šležienė Facilities Manager

    Jolanta has overall responsibility for client hospitality and housekeeping. Jolanta combines extended experience as a Store Manager with a diligent and cheery disposition.

    Linda Antonioni Receptionist

    Frequently described as the friendly face of Chambers Linda will usually be the first person you meet when calling and visiting Chambers. Linda is a committed client care professional whose experience includes working in the film and television industry and being an airline stewardess.

    Marie Dolezalova Facilities and Conferencing Assistant

    Marie joined Chambers in March 2018. She works as Facilities and Conference Assistant and undertakes a wide range of general duties throughout the building to support the smooth running of Monckton Chambers. She also assists with reception cover. Marie brings with her experience in fine dining and five star and boutique event hospitality in venues.
