We’ll unpack the journey leading up to and including a sports arbitration hearing and its procedural nuances. We’ll examine how sports arbitrations are often different from commercial arbitration and other forms of dispute resolution, including the interplay with recent CJEU decisions (including Seraing – hot off the press), before diving into the proceedings themselves. We will draw on the speakers’ collective experiences with all the legal twists and turns, from national-based UK sports disputes, through to CAS hearings and major international sporting events, including Olympic-related disputes.
