Oxford POGO Club online session re the new Procurement Act 2023.

28 Nov, 2023
4:00pm - 6:00pm

Event Type

The Procurement Bill has successfully passed through Parliament, received Royal assent, and is now officially the Procurement Act 2023. Once in effect, this Act will be the law of the land in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland – but not Scotland for devolved matters. The Act introduces various reforms including new public notices earlier and later in the procurement cycle, a new central digital platform for notices and supplier registration, and increased procedural flexibility.

Ready for action?! Please join the Oxford POGO Club online next Tuesday 28 November at 4 pm to consider the UK’s new Procurement Act 2023.

Chaired by Professor Anne Davies and managed by Ruairi Macdonald, the November 2023 online session of the Oxford POGO Club will consider with policymakers and practitioners the new Procurement Act’s timeline, opportunities, and potential challenges around implementation and Michael Bowsher KC is pleased to join the line-up of excellent panelists.

This online session is co-hosted by the University of Oxford’s Faculty of Law and the Government Outcomes Lab (GO Lab) in the Blavatnik School of Government. All are welcome!
