Anneli Howard KC to Co-Chair Bar Council European Committee 

With effect from 1st January 2025 Anneli Howard KC of Monckton Chambers has been elected as Co-Chair of the Bar Council European Committee, taking over from Philip Moser KC  of Monckton Chambers who steps down after completing a four-year term.

The Committee works with the Brussels Office of the Bar Council and monitors and addresses legal issues emanating from the European Union including policy and legislative proposals from the EU institutions, and its remit includes the Withdrawal Agreement, UK-EU relations law and the FTA.
