Cuts to legal aid are creating a perceived skills deficit in discrimination law among social welfare lawyers. PLP is attempting to address this by holding a new conference, “Discrimination law for public lawyers/Public law for discrimination lawyers”.
This conference will be an intensive training course on using discrimination arguments in judicial review and county court proceedings as well as a forum for addressing contemporary issues in discrimination law.
Steve Broach will be speaking at breakout session two “Education and SEN Funding”.
