DESCRIPTION:Leaving the EU internal market has been a clear domestic policy
  priority of the UK Government albeit one that has encountered political r
 esistance among the constituent nations of the UK. More directly\, the rep
 atriation of regulatory powers to the UK also entails an enhanced role for
  the devolved governments in the elaboration of domestic regulatory polici
 es. However\, the risk that regulatory divergence within the UK might crea
 te friction in internal trade in goods and services has prompted the UK Go
 vernment to propose enshrining a Market Access Commitment in UK law. This
