New Appointments to the Panels of Junior Counsel to the Crown

Chambers is delighted to announce that Josh Holmes has been appointed to the Attorney General's B Panel and that Rob Williams and Ben Lask have both been elevated to the B Panel.
Josh is the winner of the Competition/EU junior of the year award for 2011/12 and is recognised by Chambers UK and Legal 500 as a leading junior. Described as "absolutely outstanding" and "'razor sharp' on competition issues", he "inspires real respect amongst contemporaries for his superlative handling of competition issues and deeply professional approach". His practice covers all aspects of competition, EC, public and regulatory work.
Rob is an experienced junior barrister and litigator, with a practice spanning the range of commercial, European, regulatory and public law work. He is recommended in Chambers and Partners as a leading junior in public procurement who describe Rob as "an excellent analyst and a sensible advocate who always has his feet on the ground". Rob has worked extensively for both private and public clients, and has particular expertise in a number of industry sectors, including energy, utilities, telecoms, transport, financial services and construction/PFI.
Ben Lask "is praised for his confident manner" by Chambers & Partners. Ben practices in the fields of Public and Administrative Law, Competition Law, and European Community law. He has particular expertise in regulatory matters, including in the spheres of telecommunications and broadcasting, freedom of information and sport. He also has a broad public law practice, which includes social security and immigration work.
