Melanie Hall QC secures victory for the UK in the European Court

The European Court delivered a judgment today dismissing the proceedings brought
by the Commission against the UK in which it challenged the UK’s legislation on
VAT Grouping. This judgment will be welcomed by all large taxpayers in the UK.
